Residence Inn by Marriott Maui Wailea

We stayed for 7 days here and then moved to Four Seasons. This hotel obviously isn’t like a resort but it’s not just a plain hotel either. It’s a hybrid. It’s got a pool area, breakfast spread wasn’t anything like Four Seasons’s but then the priv also was 1/2 of it. I’d say very good breakfast- got eggs, all sorts of breads, muffins C waffles pancakes, fresh fruits and coffee/ tea. I loved it!! The rooms were attended to every day. Love that we had a kitchen. We could cook two meals for our toddler everyday: house keeping was good. They clean everyday but the 4/5 th day they were just doing our beds and did very basic cleaning.. I loved the stay here’s felt like I was at home ! Very good views we got- pool and ocean view. The location is damn good:

We had such a great staycation here! The service was top tier - everyone was friendly, easygoing, and made us feel right at home. The free breakfast with a gorgeous view was such a treat - you honestly can't find that anywhere else on island. We celebrated our child's birthday during our stay, and the staff was so welcoming to our family and guests. No hassle, no nagging about wristbands, and no extra charges - just a genuinely relaxing experience. The rooms were clean, nicely updated, and had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave. Plus, no Resort Fees! We definitely found our go -to-spot for a family staycations. I could go on and on about how great this hotel is - highly recommend!

Service is great! Shuttle bus is convenient and mall is in walkable distance! I could hear people walking from my room so it could be better. Free breakfast is always a plus but it’s just a standard free hotel breakfast plus the cooked rice. Sparrows were loving the blueberry muffin on a table. So be careful!

Stayed here for my best friend’s birthday and Bethany, Ador, and Chelsea made the experience so perfect! They were so amazing and accommodating to us. Bethany went above and beyond and brought balloons to my friend’s room and helped me surprise her by decorating her room. So many thanks to them!! The rooms are lovely and in a perfect location. Also the free breakfast was amazing. Will definitely come back!

The Residence Inn Maui in Kihei is a fantastic choice for a comfortable and convenient stay. Perfect for families or longer visits, the spacious suites with full kitchens feel like a home away from home. The staff is wonderfully friendly, the pool area is great for relaxing, and the included breakfast and parking are huge perks. Its central location makes exploring South Maui's beaches and restaurants a breeze. Excellent value and a consistently pleasant experience!

We LOVEEED everything about this hotel — the price, location, free breakfast, friendly staff, amenities (especially the grill for our cute steak night). This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we definitely plan on returning. Mahalo to the amazing staff!

We stayed here one night, and had a great time. You are a short walk to pretty much everything in Wailea. The hotel actually has a bit of a resort feel, with a nice bar by the pool. Also got upgrade to a 1 bedroom as a Platinum elite which was very much appreciated.

Residence Inn Wailea is an excellent choice for a stay in Maui, and we highly recommend it, especially for its unbeatable location and comfort. Location! Location! Location! The hotel is perfectly situated near fantastic dining, great shopping, and world-class beaches. One of our favorite parts of staying here was being able to walk the Wailea beachfront and stroll to dinner in the evenings, no car required, just beautiful sunsets and island breezes. The rooms are ideal for an extended stay, offering plenty of space to spread out and truly relax. Everything feels thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. Speaking of comfort, the beds are extremely comfortable. I sleep every night at home on a Sleep Number bed, and this bed absolutely delivered a restful, high-quality night’s sleep. The included breakfast is more than generous and a huge value. The buffet features scrambled eggs, Belgian waffles, a large and fresh fruit selection, a hot oatmeal bar, pastries, and cereal, there truly is something for everyone to fuel up each morning before a day of exploring. Between the prime location, spacious accommodations, comfortable beds, and excellent breakfast, the Residence Inn Wailea is a fantastic home base for enjoying everything Wailea has to offer. We would happily stay here again.
